A Life Committed to Purpose, Creativity, and Human Potential.

A person’s potential is one of their greatest assets. Recognizing, developing, and nurturing that potential is one of the most demanding—and most rewarding—tasks we can take on. Yet, it is often neglected. So many talents remain undiscovered. I am convinced: if people don’t live out their potential, it not only endangers their personal future, but also that of society as a whole.

Early Encounters with Humanity

Born and raised in the Netherlands in a loving, close-knit family, I came into contact with the deeper layers of human experience at an early age. Together with my disabled brother, I was already performing on stage at the age of six—playing music in retirement homes, prisons, facilities for the disabled, and psychiatric institutions. It didn’t matter why someone was there. They were human beings. And they deserved to be seen, heard, and touched.

These encounters shaped me. I gradually and unconsciously developed the ability to speak to people, to listen to them, to understand them. My mother once told me how she searched for me in a prison after a performance—only to find me smiling, deep in conversation, sitting among the inmates. To me, that was normal. I didn’t see their mistakes—I saw their humanity.

At school, I often became the first point of contact for classmates with personal struggles. Somehow, I always seemed to know more about them than they knew about themselves. I could “read people’s eyes.” Looking back, it was the beginning of my path as someone who truly sees people.

A Life in Many Roles – Music, Business, Humanity

After training as a carpenter, I returned to music and toured Europe with my band. During a performance in Switzerland, I met my wife Sonja – the best decision of my life. Today, I’m the proud father of two wonderful daughters.

Despite my love for music, I began to feel the emotional toll: on stage, there was no space for inner heaviness. I had to smile—even when I didn’t feel like it. After that intense time, I became an insurance advisor, focusing on elderly clients who were often deemed “unprofitable” by the industry. But to me, they were valuable. I listened, I helped—even if it didn’t bring financial reward.

Later, I worked as a Key Account Manager in major IT companies before starting my own business – launching multiple webshops, including a bead store. What others saw as a product, I saw as connection. I understood what moved people and helped them find the right beads through their symbolic meaning. The shop grew into the largest bead supplier in Switzerland. I worked hard – but deep down, I knew: this wasn’t everything.

The Turning Point: Returning to My Calling

Eventually, I reached a point where I realized: I was no longer living my dream. On the outside, things looked good – my business was successful, my schedule full. But inside, something essential was missing: true human connection.

I began coaching people. At first it was just a few sessions – then more and more. Soon, leaders came to me – entrepreneurs, people searching for meaning or direction. Without consciously planning it, I had become a coach and business advisor. And even more than that: I had returned to what I always was – a companion, someone who sees what others struggle to express.

I recognized patterns, sensed tension, connected inner and outer dynamics – intuitively, clearly, deeply. I often knew things about people that they had never said aloud. What seemed natural to me often caused surprise, sometimes even deep emotional reactions – but ultimately, relief. To me, it felt as simple as 1 + 1.

Today, this calling has become a clear profession:
I lead SwissPathWay – a platform for strategic coaching, conflict resolution, and organizational clarity. I guide companies, teams, and leaders who not only want to grow, but want to lead consciously and sustainably.

Because I’ve learned: the real obstacles in business are rarely technical. They are often unspoken conflicts, broken communication, cultural rifts, or a lost sense of alignment.

My Thoughts in a Book – Living the Dream Instead of Just Dreaming

As an author, I’m currently bringing together my insights, life experiences, and proven tools in a book that aims to encourage people to realize their own dreams – through discipline, courage, and perseverance.

It’s not just about motivation – it’s about concrete steps that enable real transformation, both professionally and personally.

I’m currently in the final phase of the publishing process – the manuscript is complete, and printing is about to begin.

“I believe that every human being carries a treasure within –
and it’s my task to help bring it to light.”
