The Vidyasagar Educational Trust was founded by K.E.Ch. Vidyasagar B.A., and Mrs. Manorama M.A, PG Dip in Education who have been in Educational Field for more than 25 years. The Trust was registered on 9th of June 1999. The Trustees are educated intellectuals holding high positions in society. The founders opened SILICON VALLEY SCHOOL as there was a lack of quality education in the semi-urban area of Bangalore city which consists of Population from the middle class level who are migrants from other states or people pushed form city to the extensions due to higher cost of living etc., We wanted to cater to this section of the society. Having started with just 7 students, we have grown to 400 students in 15 years
The school has continuously grown in all respects i.e Infrastructure – wise and Academic excellence . The school is proud of having experienced, qualified and passionate teaching staff. The school conducts co-curricular activities, sports activities, community service, field work etc throughout the year. The interactive Teaching Methodology of the school and consistent 100% results in the Board Examinations has earned good name. Our students shine in various intra-school and inter-school activities. The school obtained permanent affiliation in 2015 by ICSE board affiliation number being Ka-196 and has implemented the ICSE rules and regulations and syllabus as per the Council Standards. The school has incorporated Employee Welfare Schemes and social responsibility Schemes through giving free Education for needy poor children every year, cash awards and scholarships for merit students. School has also incorporated RTE act, includes 25% free and compulsory education.
